How do I plan my garage storage space?

There are so many ways to personalize your storage with EasyGarage products! To help you get started, you can use our online design tool on your tablet, laptop, or desktop computer to reinvent your garage space from floor to ceiling. Or you can contact a member of our design crew to help you get started for free at 888.991.1559.

How do I place an order?

After you’ve added items to your cart on our e-commerce site or design tool, click on “Buy It Now” to place your order online. You will be prompted to create an account if you have not done so already. Then you will provide your delivery location information, select your payment type, and confirm your order. Should you have questions about your order, please contact Customer Service at 888-991-1559 during business hours.

What forms of payment are accepted for purchases?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

What happens after order?

We will send you a message confirming your order to the email address you provided when you set up your account. Depending on what you’ve purchased, your order may contain items that will be shipped from different locations and may not arrive to your home on the same day.

When will my order ship?

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, please allow for extended shipment timelines. Thank you for your patience and understanding. The ship date for your order will be noted during the checkout process. We recommend contacting an EasyGarage designer for more information. If you wish to receive your order at a later date, you can choose during checkout to have it shipped up to 30 days after your order date. Please note that the date you will see on your screen, or the date given to you by your designer, is the approximate shipping date from our warehouse, not the delivery date. Delivery dates vary due to geography and local conditions. We are not responsible for delivery dates. Again, please consult with your designer or call 888.991.1559 for more information.

I would like to purchase an EasyGarage solution, but I don't need it right away. Can I order it for a scheduled shipment date?

Yes, you can select your ship date at checkout.

Do you offer free shipping?

We are proud to offer free shipping within the contiguous U.S. on purchases over $400. See our Shipping Information page for details.

Please be aware that our shipping (and manufacturing) dates are ESTIMATED. Many factors in today's business climate, including Covid-19 restrictions, a strained supply-chain, and shipping company challenges, cause us to caution you if you plan to install your project within defined calendar dates, or hire 3rd party installers or contractors in advance or your project's arrival. Am I able to cancel my order after submitting it?

Unfortunately no. All sales are final. Due to the custom-designed nature of your orderand our fast turnaround, once your order is submitted, it will proceed immediately to our manufacturing and fulfillment center and will ship as soon as possible. If you have doubts or reservations about your dimensions, please take the time to review those elements before you place your order. Can I return my order?

We accept returns of new unused items within 30 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and a 50% restocking fee. For complete details, please see our Return Policy.

There were missing or damaged parts in my shipment. Will you ship me replacement parts?

EasyGarage will replace any damaged or missing elements of your project, but only within 90 days from date of delivery with no cost to you. You can submit a request to receive replacement parts by selecting your processed order in your account’s order history. You can then claim missing and damaged parts from the shipment. Beyond that 90-day limit the customer is responsible for all replacement and shipping charges. Our goal is customer satisfaction, and we understand how unforeseeable circumstances may delay your installation.

What skills and tools are needed to install my EasyGarage solution?

Can EasyGarage solutions be installed onto concrete walls or walls with steel studs?

Typically, our wall storage is installed on drywall over standard wood frame construction. If your garage has masonry walls or walls with steel studs, installation will require additional hardware available from your local hardware store. For help choosing the correct type of fastener for your installation, please contact Customer Service at 888-991-1559.

How strong is the MaxMount Shelf System™?

This shelf system is made of high-quality, powder-coated steel and securely fastened to your garage wall for hanging storage. When installed correctly, MaxMount supports up to 500 lbs. per 32 in. section.

What are the products made of?

The MaxMount Shelf System™ is made of high-quality, powder-coated steel. Steel-constructed, MaxMount hooks are durable and rubber-coated keeping your garage gear elevated, non-slip, and scratch-free.

How long does it take to install the MaxMount Shelf System™?

Installation time will vary depending personal experience with product assembly. A ½” socket driver attachment will speed up installation process.

Can I personalize my MaxMount Shelf System™?

Yes. Invent the perfect shelf storage for your garage. Start with a 32” Starter Kit and build on it with as many 32” Extension Kits as your wall needs. Multi-functional, rubber-coated hooks help you personalize your storage solution to meet your specific needs allowing you to hang anything from bikes and leaf blowers, to hammers and paint brushes.

I have 24 inch on-center studs in my garage. Can I install this system?

The MaxMount Shelf System is designed for homes with standard 16” on-center studs in their garage, however furring strips can be used to install the system if 16” studs are unavailable.

Slatwall

How strong is slatwall?

Once slatwall panels are screwed into place, steel-constructed, durable hooks can be snapped into place and used to hold up to 30lbs per hook.

What are the products made of?

Slatwall is made up of industrial PVC for an easy-to-cut, lightweight, and durable structure. Each slatwall hook is steel-constructed with rubber coating.

How long does it take to install slatwall?

Though slatwall installation is simple, time will vary depending personal experience with product assembly. Head over to our Installation Page for more on how to install slatwall.

Can I personalize my slatwall solution?

Yes. Invent the perfect wall storage for your garage. Choose how many slatwall panels you’d like to install for your space – cover a single area or go for wall-to-wall storage. Slatwall can be easily installed around obstructions like windows and doors because of its easy-to-cut construction. Multi-functional, rubber-coated hooks help you personalize your storage solution to meet your specific needs allowing you to store small items like screws and nails in durable bins or bulky gear like ladders and leaf blowers.

Flooring

Flooring Design

How do I design my space with flooring?

We recommend using our design tool to design your space with flooring. Input the dimensions of your garage and the floor layout tool will automatically calculate the tiles and edge pieces you’ll need to cover your garage. Select from various color and pattern options for inspiration. View in 3D mode to see your complete garage with flooring and storage.

How many flooring tiles do I need?

Each floor tile is 12"x12", making it equal to one square foot. We recommend using our design tool to generate how many tiles you’ll need for your space.

What is the flooring made of? Is it durable?

All our tiles or bases are made of 100% Virgin Polypropylene. Tiles are 1/2" thick and are made using a 4-point injection molding process for even material distribution, translating to a stronger tile.

How much does it cost to get flooring?

The cost is $3.50 per square foot. Purchase a pack of 10 pack of tiles for $35.

How will the tiles perfectly fit my garage space?

For a wall-to-wall installation, tiles are easily cut-to-size with an electrical saw such as a miter saw, jig saw, table saw, etc. Pre-plan and envision flooring in your space using our design tool.

What colors do the tiles come in?

There are 10 color options listed on our product page.

When are flooring edges required?

Edges are required in areas where you are transitioning from a garage tile floor to the subfloor, giving your application a completed and finished look. In garages, edges are most used at the garage door opening. Edges are also used to complete the look of any island application or install that does not go wall to wall, such as car pads or event displays and booths.

What is a mat?

A garage mat is a preconfigured set of tiles with trim designed to be stationed anywhere in your garage. You could use a mat under your motorcycles or vehicles to protect your garage flooring from vehicle wear. Mats are free-floating, meaning they do not go wall-to-wall.

 

Ordering

How do I place an order for flooring?

Using our easy-to-use design tool, you can check out when selecting "Buy It Now" and all products in your design (from flooring to storage) will be taken to checkout. You will be prompted to create an account if you have not done so already. Then you will provide your delivery location information, select your payment type, and confirm your order. Should you have questions about your order, please contact Customer Service at 888-991-1559 during business hours. You can also visit our product page to purchase tiles, trim, and preconfigured mats al la carte.

What happens when I submit my order?

Your order is sent to us and gets ready for processing based on your ship date.

Can I order individual floor tiles?

No. Order tiles and trim in packs of 10. Corner pieces will come in packs of 4.

If I order my flooring today, when will I get it?

Shipping times vary depending on a variety of factors. As of this writing (September 2021) we suggest you consult with one of our design consultants at 888.991.1559. Depending on order size, orders ship via standard ground service by parcel or a freight carrier.

Please note that freight companies will not deliver in neighborhoods where access is limited, where driveways are exceptionally long or where overhanging branches impede the driving of freight company pup trucks. EasyGarage freight deliveries are curbside only. If you do have impediments restricting delivery, and you still decide to move forward with your project, please know that EasyGarage is not responsible for any additional costs involved in expediting the delivery to your doorstep. Will my project be delivered in inclement weather?

Yes, it will. We currently use two methods of localized delivery, parcel, and freight carriers. Your product will be sent to the delivery address you provide us on a day and time that is beyond our control. Other than during instances of major weather conditions, (delivery conditions determined by parcel or the local freight company), both parcel and freight companies deliver during periods of inclement weather. Our freight delivery service will call you and coordinate a delivery time that works for both you and the freight company. They will require a signature from someone older than 18 years of age when delivery is accomplished (Covid regulations vary across the country, some carriers may not require a signature). EasyGarage is not responsible for damage to orders caused by inclement weather, so we ask that you prepare accordingly for the estimated day of delivery. If your project has been affected and/or damaged due to inclement weather, please follow the steps to submit a replacement request in your order history.

What type of costs can I expect if my order ships via a freight carrier?

At EasyClosets, your initial purchase price includes the cost of manufacturing and free shipping (if the order is over $400) your project to the address provided to us. However, EasyClosets is not responsible for covering the cost of any additional white–glove services from the carrier or its sub-carriers. EasyClosets covers only the cost of curbside delivery, but the customer is responsible for any charges above and beyond curbside, e.g., physically bringing the product up to the home, or into the garage, etc.

Additionally, if the customer cannot accept a freight delivery to their place of residence and asks that the freight company hold their project in storage or change the delivery address, the customer will also be responsible for those charges. Generally, freight depots will charge a daily fee to hold projects for up to 30 days. If, after discussing the matter with our customer service department, a customer does decide to take advantage of either a white-glove service or storage of their order, the customer will know in advance the daily charge for storage and any other additional service (if it is available in their area). In each case, the credit card on file with EasyClosets will be charged for the additional service.

Installation

Once installed, how do I clean my floor tiles?

There are many ways to go about cleaning your tiles. We make this as simple and easy as possible! Flooring can be maintained like a typical floor, using a broom or mop to remove debris. You can easily remove a single tile and clean underneath if necessary. However, many customers find themselves going long periods of time with little to no maintenance or cleaning at all.

What skills and tools are necessary to install flooring?

There are no tools required for simply laying tiles or laying a preconfigured mat. Recommended tools for cutting tiles would be a fine-toothed blade electrical saw for cutting flooring tiles in a wall-to-wall installation.

How do I install flooring?

Flooring is a simple, "Do It Yourself" project that anyone can install. Typically, a standard two car garage will take two people approximately four hours. A majority of installation time will be cutting tiles to perfectly fit your space. See installation instructions here.

Are adhesives needed to install floor tiles?

No, the tiles have a quick and easy patented interlocking system that has 6 connectors per side.

Do you need a rubber underlay beneath the tiles?

Rubber underlay is not necessary. Some customers will use rubber underlay for car pad installations.

Is your flooring watertight?

No, our Patented interlocking system is not watertight. However, the tiles are designed with an integrated base system. The structure provides a stable base but allows for airflow for draining and moisture reduction.

Are the flooring tiles mold and mildew resistant?

Yes.

Is your flooring chemical resistant?

Tiles are resistant to oils, solvents, hydraulic fluids, skydrol and more.
